The Southern-Cross-Swimstruct website's maintainence is now complete and we are currently taking bookings for the 2016/17 season.

 

A WORD ABOUT SOUTHERN CROSS-SWIMSTRUCT

  • SWIMSTRUCT has offered ‘learn to swim’ and ‘springboard diving’ classes to the general public each year at St Marys Anglican Girls School in Karrinyup since 1968.
  • Ian Dickson established the business, SWIMSTRUCT and ran it for 47 years successfully before trusting Treena and Ian Skeggs-Grant to continue his legacy.
  • The couple are highly qualified and skilled, knowledgeable and experienced in the organisation and management of swimming programmes in all facets of ‘Learn to Swim’ and ‘Training Groups’ at the elite level.
  • The ‘Learn to Swim’ programmes are held under conditions which maximise progress made and the gaining of self confidence in its participants.
  • All teachers are either AUSTSWIM, ASCTA or RLSSWA accredited and are selected for their ability to relate to children in an encouraging and enthusiastic manner and to employ effective teaching practices and strategies.
  • SWIMSTRUCT’s policy is to keep a particular child or group with the same teacher throughout the ten day series unless there is good reason to do otherwise.
  • The number of children per teacher relates to the age and stage of the learner.
  • The Tuition Fee charged is dependent upon the type and size of class enrolled in.
  • Siblings, irrespective of age or stage attained, are programmed to have their respective lesson times concurrently run.
